Little Dancing Friends: Madelyn {Fall 2016}

Maddy finished her first dance class last week and she loved it!  She did so great and tried so hard to learn the dances. There were three other little girls in her class with two teachers so she got plenty of attention.

Lately {Fall Edition}...

We have had a fun (and unseasonably warm) start to Fall.  Here is some of what we've been up to since Labor Day.

 

Avery prefers to play in her room by herself after she gets home from school. She usually draws/colors or plays school by herself.  I think she just needs a little down time away from everyone.  One day I found her fast asleep in her chair, wearing her Awana vest.

The big girls are training for the Liger Mile at school so we've been doing some 1 mile training runs.  They all deserved a popsicle after their hard run.

We watched Emmy one afternoon while her family went to the Colts game.  The girls clearly hated it. :)  Em got lots of attention and the girls LOVED having her here.

Maddy got a little trim before her picture day.  Avery's job was to keep her entertained! :)

We stopped by to cheer on one of our favorite soccer players (Maddy's friend Will).

We went up to the FCA retreat again this year and the girls had a blast.  Kens climbed to the top of the rock wall (3 times) and did the zipline down and Avery did the big swing a few times.



We got to have lunch with some of our favorite school girls last week.

Maddy finally got her big girl bed.  She's made great strides in the potty training department and worked so hard for her big girl bed.

She loves it!  This was captured one night after we put them to bed.

This girl finished her soccer season and was thrilled with her plaque!



The girls attended a cheerleading birthday party and they loved it.  If I had to guess, I would say Avery will be our cheerleader (that girl was in her element)!
