Labor Day Weekend...

We continued our Labor Day weekend tradition of visiting an amusement park, but this year we decided to try out Holiday World.  We had a great time and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.  I think we are a little undecided on whether we would visit again.  Kings Island is more convenient due to the drive and it seems to have more that all the kids can do.  Avery and Conner were not quite tall enough to do some of the rides, but seemed too big for the baby rides.

 

We spent the night at the Santa Lodge in Santa Clause, Indiana and then spent the day riding rides...we didn't make it to the water park at all.

 

 

Random Updates...

At the end of August we had a fun filled weekend.  It started with going to see Zac Brown in concert at Klipsch. 

 

 

 

 Then on Saturday night we went to the Symphony on the Prairie to see Who's Bad: The Best of Michael Jackson. 

 

 

This same weekend, our neighborhood had an end of the summer pool party on Sunday.  We all had a great time!

 

 

I also realized that I failed to blog about the Bible Presentation/Promotion Sunday at church.  Every year, our church presents Bibles to incoming 2nd graders.  So Kensley and Elli were presented with Bibles in front of the congregation.

 

 





Madelyn: First Day of Pre-K!

Madelyn had her first day of pre-k back at the end of August.  She is a Zebra this year and her teachers are Miss Ashley and Miss Amy.  She is in class with several of her friends from last year and she is loving it so far!
