Back to school {2018/2019}...

We are officially back to school and it's so hard to believe that we have three school age kiddos now!  I am not sure where the time went or how we got here so fast!  The girls are loving school so far!  They are happy to be back with their friends and are enjoying their new classes and teachers.

 

We started with the Ice Cream Social on the Monday before school started.

 

 

 

 

While the girls went to their first day of school, I met some friends for a morning of brunch and shopping!



The rest of Summer 2018...

We had a great rest of summer!  The month of July seemed to fly by and it's hard to believe it's already over.

 

All three girls, attempted water skiing.

 

We went to Saxony to see Fireworks and concert in the park. 

Kens did some fishing with Papa and caught a huge fish in our local pond.

We took several boat rides with the Lindvall Family.

 

We went to Symphony on the Prairie with some of Jeremy's colleagues.

Girls swam in the rain one day and loved it!

 

 We went for well checks and Kindergarten shots (Avery didn't want her picture taken).

I went with some friends to see Dierks Bentley in concert..

We made our rounds to some of the Carmel parks and went to Bub's Burgers and ice cream.

 

We did more bowling with friends. 

And more boating...

 

We went to see the Beach Boys at Symphony on the Prairie.

 

 We went to the Colt's Training Camp. 

 

We had lots of fun this summer and we are looking forward to a great school year!



Madelyn's 5th Birthday...

Madelyn Joy is 5 years old and it just doesn't seem possible that our youngest baby is this old already!  She feels so grown up these days and is really becoming independent.

 

Maddy continues to be the class clown of the family.  She is constantly making us laugh with silly faces, voices and moves.  She also continues to be the loudest member of our family.  As Avery tends to have one speed (fast), Maddy tends to have one volume (loud).

 

Like Avery, Maddy loves all things girly.  She requests to have her nails and toes painted often.  She loves to carry purses (filled with lots of treasures).  She is particular about what she wears and usually wants a dress or skirt.  She loves to accessorize and loves big hairbows and headbands.

 

Maddy learned to ride her bike without training wheels in June.  She is playing soccer in the fall and she swam on the Gray Eagle Swim Team with her sisters this summer.  She loves to play outside with friends, go to the park and go to the pool.  She loves to watch TV and would probably watch all day long if we let her. 

 

Her favorite foods are Mac & Cheese, Donuts, Chick-fil-A and fruit.  She has a sweet tooth as well and loves most sweets and candy.

Celebrating Madelyn: 5 years old...

Madelyn's 5th birthday fell on a Sunday so we got to celebrate her all day long. We went to church and then had her birthday party at the Splash Park with all of her friends.  We had a great hot day for it and she had so much fun!  After the party, we came home to open presents and then went out to dinner.  Happy 5th Birthday, Madelyn!

 

 

 

Michigan Trip...

After the 4th of July, we took a short trip to Michigan.  We went to Holland again as the girls requested to do everything that we did last year.  We went horseback riding, to the beach, swam in the pool and lots of fun exploring.
