Avery's 7th Birthday...

* This update is from June, but never got posted...finally getting caught up now.*

Avery Leigh is 7 years old and it just doesn't seem possible. 

 

She continues to be our girly girl and loves all dresses, lipgloss, shoes and accessories.  We frequently tells us to wants to look fancy (referring to dressing up).  She requested to go on a special birthday shopping trip this year and loved it.  She is definitely my shopping partner and loves to try on clothes.

 

She continues to move at lightening speed in all aspects of her life.  We are constantly telling her to slow down and take her time.  She always wants to be first and is usually concerned about being left out or behind.

 

She had such a great year of school this year.  She grew leaps and bounds and really excelled in math and reading.  Her teacher was such a great fit for her and really challenged and encouraged her.  Her best friends this year in her class were Sam, London and Noah (yep...all boys). 

 

Aves is still our picky eater.  She could snack all day long, but isn't a great meal eater.  She loves breakfast and that is the meal she typically eats the most at.  She is definitely a sweets lover and would tell you her favorite food is a taco.

 

This past year she participated in gymnastics, softball and swimming.  She is the oldest in her age group in swimming and is really having a great season so far.
