Little Dancing Friends (Avery)...

Avery has spent the past four months in a dance class on Thursday mornings with her two little buddies, Lucy and Elin.  It's been such a sweet time and we always look forward to our Thursday routine...with dance class followed by lunch at Chick-fil-a.

Avery has LOVED dance and she is so sad that it is over.  I have a feeling that this may not be the last recital of her dance career.  She loves it so much and really is pretty good.  Mama may take some convincing to get on board and it has been pretty time consuming...from weekly classes to dance pictures, costume prep, 3+ hour dance rehearsal and a 3 hour recital.  It was well worth it though!

Here are some pictures from recent dance classes, dress rehearsal and her recital.

We're so proud of our little dancer and had so much fun watching her shine!

Kindergarten Round-up {Avery}...

It's Kindergarten round-up time!  I feel like we just did this and here we are a year later and getting ready to send Avery to Kindergarten in just a few short months.

We went to Kindergarten round-up a few weeks ago and she had a blast.  We got to meet and talk with all the Kindergarten teachers (including Kensley's, which was fun for her), walk around the school and ride the school bus (the highlight for her).

Spring Break 2016...

We had a great Spring Break away down to Destin, Florida with the Lindvall family and Nana and Papa.  We rented a house across from the beach for the week and it was perfect for us!  Everyone had their own beds with extra to spare and the big kids loved sharing a room for the week.  The house had a private pool and Papa paid to have it heated for the week, which was huge since the air temp was in the 70's.

We drove through the night down to Destin.  The girls did well on the trip and slept the majority of the trip, with the exception of a few potty stops.  We arrived early in the morning and spent the morning checking out the local area, eating lunch and then playing on the beach.  We got into our house around 1 pm and spent the rest of the day unpacking, swimming, grocery shopping and we headed to bed early.
Checking out the area in our pj's. :)
We made it to the beach!
The view from the kids' room balcony.  They had the best view in the house!

The rest of the week was spent swimming, playing and relaxing.  We had several dinners out, went go-karting, did a little shopping and spent a lot of time at the pool and beach.  We ended up driving home with everyone and made the trip in one day.  We had planned to stop and stay somewhere Saturday night, but every hotel was completely sold out!

Here is our fun week in pictures!

We had a contest to see who could balance on the boogie board the longest.  Avery blew everyone away with well over two minutes balancing!
Go karts!

Uncle Scott and Connor had a crash!

Our walk back from the beach
Our private HEATED pool was so nice!

The girls begged and begged to do this trampoline thing all week.  They loved it!  Kensley was doing flip after flip on it.

Avery was so pumped to do it!  You could hear her giggling the entire time!
Date night on our last night
Jeremy got a new GoPro camera for his birthday and we had fun playing around with it.  It took the best under water pictures!

We had such a fun vacation!  Thanks Nana and Papa!
