Fall Break Disney Trip: Part 3...

Friday - Park Day 5 at Epcot
On Friday, we went back to Epcot for a 2nd day.  We aren't big Animal Kingdom people and since Maddy wasn't tall enough to do the Avatar ride, we decided to skip Animal Kingdom this year.

We had a more low key day at Epcot on Friday since we had already visited earlier in the week.  We had a great day revisiting some of our favorite rides, enjoying the Food and Wine Festival throughout the counties and getting the girls Duffy bears stamped in each country.  Again this day, we took a break mid-day to head back to our house.  We let the girls swim one last time there as I packed up our stuff in preparation to leave the next morning.  We headed back to Epcot in the early evening and had dinner there.  We enjoyed a few more rides and stayed for the IllumiNations fireworks show.  Another late bedtime for us all.

Saturday morning we woke the girls up early, packed up and took off to head towards home.  It was a LONG day in the car with multiple stops and meltdowns (Maddy), but we finally made it to our stop in Atlanta around 4 pm.  We spent the night at my uncle's house and the girls were able to play with their cousins while we visited and relaxed.  Again another late night for the girls, but worth it for them to play a little longer.

We woke early Sunday morning to hit the road and we made it home by 3:30 pm.  It was such a great week, but took us a full week to catch up on sleep and rest and get adjusted back to "real life".

Fall Break Disney Trip: Part 2

Tuesday - Off Day
Tuesday was our off day and our day to sleep in.  After our late night at Magic Kingdom on Monday, it was much needed.  The weather was in the low 70's and overcast, but the girls didn't seem to mind.  We went to the resort pool for the morning and the girls had a great time swimming.  After relaxing at our place in the afternoon, we headed to Disney Springs for dinner.  We ate dinner at an Irish Pub and arrived just in time for the live entertainment.  They had live music and dancers and Avery was mesmerized!  We let the girls select their souvenirs and then we headed back to the house for bed.

Wednesday - Park Day 3 at Magic Kingdom
We came back to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday and met up with our good friends for the day.  The kids had a great time together and it was a little more low key for us since we had hit most of the stuff on Monday.  We did a few new rides/shows, saw the Move it Shake it Parade and then headed back to our house for naps.  Naps were key for us this week and as we were all exhausted and wanted to take full advantage of the parks.  Magic Kingdom was open late both days we were there.

After naps, we went out to dinner at Bahama Breeze and then headed back to the park.  We met up with our friends at the Cosmic Dance Party, rode Space Mountain again (the girls rode it a total of 4 times this week) and then we hit up more rides during the fireworks (when lines were short).  A favorite of all of ours was Big Thunder Mountain railroad and we were able to get right on it at night.  It was another late night for us at the parks as it was close to midnight before we all got to bed.

Thursday - Park Day 4 at Hollywood Studios
Thursday we met up with our friends again at Hollywood Studios and enjoyed a relatively low key day.  We went straight to the Tower of Terror and got right on with barely any wait.  The girls all did it; however Maddy was less than thrilled about the experience.  She talked nonstop about it all week and acted like it was her favorite ride.  We did lots of shows and a few rides the rest of the day.  We stayed for the Fantasmic show that evening and went back to the house when the park closed at 8 pm.
