Random...

So I have found that I am so far behind, that I am just going to do a random update with the rest of the summer into the start of fall.  These are not in date order and span several months.

 

At the end of summer, we had promotion Sunday at our church.  Second graders are presented with a bible in front of the church.  This year we presented Avery with a bible.

 

Over Labor Day weekend, we headed to our annual amusement park trip.  This year, we started at Great Wolf Lodge and then went to Kings Island the next day.  It was a busy and fun two days.

 

 

This girl lost her front tooth days before school pictures.  She wanted to be toothless for school pics so she worked hard and pulled the other one out the night before pictures.

 

 

We had kind of a random, but fun weekend celebrating my birthday.

 

 

I got to chaperone Maddy's class field trip to Flat Fork Creek at the beginning of the school year.

 

 

We headed up to the FCA retreat again and the girls got to rock climb, zipline and swing.

 

 

 

 Kens had a vocab parade at school.  She had to chose a unique word, dress up like it and then give a short speech about it.

 

We served with our Life Group over Good Neighbor Weekend.

 

 

Avery's class had baby chicks this year so we got to go in and visit with them. 

 

Maddy got invited to have a special lunch with her teacher and one of her good friends.

Back to school {2018/2019}...

We are officially back to school and it's so hard to believe that we have three school age kiddos now!  I am not sure where the time went or how we got here so fast!  The girls are loving school so far!  They are happy to be back with their friends and are enjoying their new classes and teachers.

 

We started with the Ice Cream Social on the Monday before school started.

 

 

 

 

While the girls went to their first day of school, I met some friends for a morning of brunch and shopping!



The rest of Summer 2018...

We had a great rest of summer!  The month of July seemed to fly by and it's hard to believe it's already over.

 

All three girls, attempted water skiing.

 

We went to Saxony to see Fireworks and concert in the park. 

Kens did some fishing with Papa and caught a huge fish in our local pond.

We took several boat rides with the Lindvall Family.

 

We went to Symphony on the Prairie with some of Jeremy's colleagues.

Girls swam in the rain one day and loved it!

 

 We went for well checks and Kindergarten shots (Avery didn't want her picture taken).

I went with some friends to see Dierks Bentley in concert..

We made our rounds to some of the Carmel parks and went to Bub's Burgers and ice cream.

 

We did more bowling with friends. 

And more boating...

 

We went to see the Beach Boys at Symphony on the Prairie.

 

 We went to the Colt's Training Camp. 

 

We had lots of fun this summer and we are looking forward to a great school year!
