Squash!

Well as the title indicates, Kensley tried out a new food this weekend...Squash! We aren't quite sure how she feels about it as we got mixed reviews. We decided to mix it with a little rice cereal to gently ease her into the new flavor. She never seems to turn away food...so at least she ate it! After doing some research and talking to some friends, I'm going to try to make as much of Kensley's food as I can. Squash was one of the foods that I read was best to buy...so we decided to start out easy. Next on the menu...sweet potatoes! So we'll see how that goes...for both Kens and mom!

Hmm...that's different.

Here...let me help!

Not too bad...

Looking cute in her outfit from Nana.

Ready for our walk...not thrilled about the sunglasses.

Since Kensley seems to enjoy swinging, we bought Kens her own personal swing this weekend. We're looking forward to lots of fun with the swing this summer!

Kens smiling at her daddy.
Kensley LOVES her daddy and it's so cute to watch her stare at Jeremy waiting for him to look at her. As soon as he looks in her direction she breaks into a huge smile.

Kisses from daddy. Another sweet moment as he had her giggling as he was kissing her.

Picture time with mommy before bed.

Kensley is growing up right before our eyes. She is working hard at sitting up and does really well while sitting on our laps and on the couch. She's also really into pulling herself up (while holding our hands) and leaning forward when she's sitting up or reclining back. Kens also loves it when we count to three. We think it has something to do with the anticipation as we'll count before lifting her into the air and pulling her to standing position. She is grabbing for everything these days...which is funny, but is going to keep us on our toes!
