Madelyn: 10 Months Old...

Sweet Maddycakes is 10 months old and getting more fun by the day.  I don't know how it's possible that we are 2 months away from her first birthday.  Where did the past year go?!

 

Maddy is anxious to keep up with her big sisters.  She is pulling up on everything, cruising around furniture and crawling (at what seems like) lightening speed.  Her balance is getting really good and she is close to standing on her own.  This girl is into everything.  I can't turn my back without her crawling into the dishwasher, cabinets, pantry, pulling stuff off of shelves or shoving unknown objects into her mouth (mulch, rocks, paper, etc.). 

 

I feel like she has hit a growth spurt this past month as most of her pants are now too short on her.  She is wearing mostly size 12 month pj's and clothes, and some 6-12 month sizes.  She is in size 3 diapers.

 

This past month, we had another sickness pass through our family...fevers, runny noses, goopy/matted eyes and bad coughs (and vomiting for Kens).  Maddy, of course, had it pretty bad for a few days so sleep and eating were a little off.  Now that she is feeling better, we seem to be back on a normal schedule.

 

She is typically going to bed around 7ish most nights and usually sleeps until at least 7:30/8 am.  She takes two naps a day...9:30 and 1ish.  With being sick, she didn't have much interest in food, but we're hoping to get her to try some new things soon.  She is still nursing about 4 times a day and will take the occasional bottle; however she'd rather play with the bottle.

Maddy's bottom two teeth have finally popped through!  Her bottom left came through first on the Friday before Easter and the bottom right just popped through today.  It's so cute to see them when she smiles.
