Here are a few pictures of the baby dedication at church.
After attending church with the entire family, all 14 of us and 2 babies packed into our house for lunch and an afternoon of visiting and celebrating. And here are all the guests with Kensley.
Believe it or not...the only family picture we got together.
Kens with Nana and Papa Brauchler
Kens with Grammy and Grandpa Roberts
Kens with Auntie Ashley and Uncle Scott (Elli was snoozing in her carseat.)
Kens with Auntie Kym
Kens with Great Grandma and Grandpa Zurcher and Great Aunt Carla

Thanks everyone for making the trip down to celebrate with us on such a special day. It's a day we will always remember and cherish as our families gathered around to support and encourage us as we dedicated Kensley's precious life to the Lord.

And finally...what's a visit with family without some pictures of the girls together.

As mentioned above, we have been busy, busy, busy. After lots of yard work (yuck!) and cleaning last week, we finally feel caught up around the house. We had Kensley's professional 6 month photos taken and we're so excited to get them back. Kens did great despite the outfit changes, posing/positioning and having to sit in the grass! We even got some smiles out of her this time!

Kensley also went to the doctor last week for her 6 month check up and shots. It was a little rougher all around this time as she's starting to get a little stranger anxiety. She wasn't thrilled about being checked out by the doctor and nurse and broke into tears when they laid her on the table. So Kensley spent most of the appointment in my arms being examined by the doctor...what a stinker. Shots went as expected...lots of tears, but after calming down she quickly fell asleep in the car (you know what a big deal this is as Kensley isn't a fan of her carseat and rarely falls asleep in it). Kens is still growing like a weed and is now 16 lbs 13 ounces (66th percentile) and 25.5 inches long (40th percentile).
Kensley continues to enjoy her food and is now on two feedings of solids a day....rice cereal and fruit in the mornings and a veggie at dinnertime. Her latest trick is getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. It's so funny to watch her do this and Jeremy and I just sit and crack up watching her. She likes to practice this in her crib as well as a means to try to keep herself awake. Here are two pictures of her up on all fours and rocking.
Kens is laughing a lot these days and Jeremy and I enjoy getting her going. She laughs at the smallest things we do, but we keep egging her on as we love to hear that little giggle. We took a cute video of her laughing on Mother's Day that we'll try to upload soon.
