For the first time in years, we had New Year's Eve plans...granted it involved staying in with family, playing games and kiddos running wild, but we (adults) made it to midnight! I consider that a success and a rousing New Year's Eve!
Jeremy had a half day of work on New Year's Eve, so as soon as he got home we headed over to the Lindvall's in Columbus. We spent New Year's Eve eating, playing games, watching TV and letting the kiddos run wild.
We stayed at the Lindvall's for two nights and then headed to Mansfield. The guys took Kensley, Elli and Connor skiing on Friday for a few hours and then we all met at the red water slide hotel. We stayed Friday night in the hotel and then came home on Saturday after lunch. We had planned to celebrate Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Brauchler, but Grandpa Brauchler was sick and ended up in the hospital.
The kids had a blast spending so much time with their cousins. The girls were definitely wiped out and slept the better part of our 3.5 hour trip home! Here are a bunch of pictures of our fun New Year's/Ohio Weekend.
