It's hard to believe you are already 4 years old! We have been counting down the days to your birthday and you have been telling everybody that you are turning 4!
You are our little comedian, always making us laugh. You love to make silly faces and make your eyes big to make us laugh. You still such an affectionate little girl. You LOVE to give hugs (to us, your friends, your teachers, etc) and kisses. You also tell daddy and I that you love us about 20 times a day (no joke). You love to give compliments and will often tell me how you like my hair or clothes. I love to see what all you notice!
You have the silliest laugh and such a contagious giggle. You are typically shy around new people, but when you are in your comfort zone you really open up and show off. You are often hesitant try to new things and it takes some coaxing or the promise that your sister will do it with you, to get you to try it.You seem to have about one volume...loud! You talk loud, walk loud, laugh loud, etc. You also are constantly moving at about 100 miles an hour! We're always telling you to slow down and take your time. You came into this world fast and you haven't slowed down since!
You still are not a great eater. It's not so much that you are super picky, you just take forever to finish your food (most of the time, your dinner). Your favorite foods include: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, donuts, apple juice, yogurt, strawberries, grapes, goldfish or any kind of crackers and chicken nuggets. You also have a huge sweet tooth and we usually have to bribe you with dessert to get you to finish your dinner.
You are in the process of dropping your afternoon nap. Some days we let you read books and rest in your bed during naptime. If we've had a busy morning, you will usually fall asleep. You are no longer wearing diapers during nap, only overnight. We recently redid your bedroom to more of a "big girl room". You now sleep in a double bed (which is probably a little too high off the ground) and you helped to pick out new bedding and some accessories.
You and Maddy have become the best little buddies over the past few months. She ADORES you and constantly wants to be by your side. She is usually game to go along with whatever idea you have in mind. Fights tend to pop up quickly when you go after the same things, but you have been so good with sharing with her. You and Kensley also play really well together and you love to play school and house with her. You love taking care of your babies, coloring or drawing, playing with play-doh, doing puzzles and playing outside. You are also really into your purse lately and you want to take it everywhere with you.
Happy Birthday, Avery Leigh! We are so thankful for you and proud of you! We love you and can't imagine our family without you!
