Well Maddy is officially less than 1 month away from turning 2 years old! It seems like she is growing up so quickly!
Maddy's vocabulary is expanding every day. She can tell us exactly what she wants (and doesn't want). Every once in a while we can't understand what she is trying to say and sometimes that frustrates her. She loves to sing and knows the words to many of her favorite songs (Jesus Loves Me, The BIBLE, Twinkle Twinkle and Let it Go). One of my favorite things to do with her lately is to sing with her before putting her to bed. We rock in her chair and usually sing Jesus Loves Me several times together.
Her relationship continues to grow with her sisters. She seems to be the comedian of the group and loves to get them laughing with her silly faces and tricks. They are always asking her "Maddy, are you my buddy?" and she readily agrees each time. She always wants to be right with them doing whatever they are doing. She also loves to play with (or rather be around) other kids.
Maddy continues to be obsessed with babies (real and fake), her blankies and her thumb. She is getting particular at what all she wants in her bed....it usually includes her three blankets, three naked babies and her Minnie stuffed animal. She is a pretty good sleeper still and goes down really easily. She naps for about 2 hours every afternoon and usually sleeps from about 8 pm - 8 am.
She is still a decent eater, but definitely has her favorite things now. She loves pizza, mac and cheese, berries, peanut butter and jelly, chips, donuts and waffles. She also has a sweet tooth and is a big lover of ice cream (hence the theme for her birthday party).
We are so thankful for this sweet girl and can't wait to celebrate her next month!
