We had the opportunity to go to Siesta Key, Florida again this year and visit my parents last week. It was a jam packed week, filled with lots of fun and memories. The girls had a blast and already want to know when we can go back!
We opted to drive through the night on the way down and way back. At this stage in our lives, it seems to be the easiest solution to get there quickly and with few(er) tears/meltdowns. Unfortunately we ended up leaving in the middle of a snowstorm in Indiana and it added about 2.5 hours to our trip down. Once we hit Louisville, the weather conditions started to improve.
The weather turned out to be great for us almost all week. The mornings and a few evenings were a little chilly, but overall the weather was great. We spent most days by the pool or beach. The highlight of our trip was our day trip to Disney World (I'll do a separate post for that...too many pictures).
Not surprisingly, most of the pictures and videos were taken with my phone. It's easiest and most convenient these days! Here is a brief recap of our trip.

| Such a happy girl! |
 |
| Drum Ceremony at Sunset |
 |
| Our constant snacker. Also you can kind of see her chipped tooth in this picture. The day before she was walking around the edge of the pool and slipped and hit her tooth on the metal railing. So now her front right tooth has a chip out of it. Good news is that there doesn't seem to be any damage to the root...bad news is it will be there until she loses the tooth around 7 or 8 years old! |

| First official swim! |
 |
| On Tuesday, I got to spend the afternoon with my college roomie...so fun! |
 |
| Horrible photo quality, but just shows how happy she is. |
 |
| Matchy matchy sisters! |
 |
| Date night! |
 |
| 5 minutes into our car ride home...she crashed! |
 |
| This girl loves pancakes! |
And here are a few videos from the trip.
Kens continued to make great strides with her swimming skills.
A video of the girls dancing at the drum ceremony Sunday night.
Maddy's first official swim in the pool. Also clearly this girl gets no attention. :)
Thanks for a great week, Nana and Papa!
