I think Avery is thoroughly confused as to when her actual birthday is. I definitely see how that can happen as we tend to stretch out birthday celebrations around here!
We started celebrating Avery turning 3 with a small party when we were in Gulf Shores with Nana and Papa and the Lindvalls. We had cupcakes, party hats and she got to open a few presents.
The girls and I celebrated on her actual birthday during the day with donuts, a trip to the park with friends and the pool after nap. When Daddy got home, she chose McDonald's for her birthday dinner, followed by presents and dessert at home.
Then this past weekend we had a small family party at our house. She chose to have a purple themed party (her current favorite color) and was pretty excited about helping pick out decorations, her cake, tableware, etc. She had a great time at her party and we had a great day celebrating our big girl!
