We spent last week down in Gulf Shores, Alabama with the Brauchler family. It was our first vacation with everyone together since the older girls were 8 months old (well we did overlap a few days in Florida 2 years ago). We had a great time and our girls are definitely missing their cousins this week!
On the way down, we drove straight through the night and left later in the evening. The girls did pretty well on the trip down and they were anxious to get there. We spent the week by the pool, at the beach, going out to dinners, went to a Waterpark, eating ice cream and lots of playing. We drove home the following Saturday and again straight through, but this time during the day. It's definitely tougher to keep everyone entertained and happy when they are all awake.
We all stayed together in one condo, which proved to be more spacious than we anticipated (especially with 11 people). It was only three bedrooms, but with large rooms and closets we were able to all sleep comfortably. The complex we stayed at had 5 pools and numerous hot tubs. The heated indoor pool was a lifesaver on the day and a half it rained.
Here are lots of pictures from our week. And although I took our nice camera, all of the pictures I took are from my phone...convenience is key these days!

| She refused to smile for me for some reason. Her and Maddy woke early most morning so we had to try to keep them quiet and entertained until everyone else woke up. |

And one quick video from the week.
Avery loves to dance. Also watch her with Connor at the end of the video patting him on the back. She loves Connor! Whenever she would call for him, she would yell "Connor...Connor" while clapping her hands.
We had such a great week! Thanks, Nana and Papa!
