Maddy is now 16 months old and I can't believe how close she is to being a year and a half. She is at such a fun (and busy) stage. She is picking up new words, tricks and skills every day and it's so fun to watch her learn new things.
Her vocabulary continues to grow and her favorite word these days is "no"...usually dragging it out to "noooooooo" while furiously shaking her head back and forth. This past week she also picked up the word "Elsa" (as in Frozen, of course). She also has a hilarious way of saying yes, that is hard to describe with words. She excitedly nods her head while making the sound "mmm...mmm...mmm". So knows exactly what she wants and can easily let us know.
She continues to love to be with her sisters. She lights up and gets so excited when she sees them come in the room, especially in the mornings or after nap. She loves to be with them when playing and usually wants to be doing exactly what they are doing. She begs to go outside and play with them when they are with their friends.
This past month, Maddy officially moved up to the booster seat at the table. She loves sitting with us (as opposed to in the high chair) and likes to pick out her own plates, bowls and silverware like her big sisters do before meals. She is a great (and super fast) eater. She will lift her plate and yell "mama" or "more" the second she finishes her food.
