Wow! What a fast year it has been! We now have a Kindergartener, First Grader and Preschooler! Where is time going?!
Kensley had a GREAT first year of school...much better than we ever could have hoped for! Since this is our family blog, I feel like I can brag on her for a minute. Kensley had such a wonderful year both academically and socially...meeting and making all new friends. She has made great strides in her reading and math! She received all greens and blues on her daily behavior chart this year (good and exceptional levels). She was nominated for the Fishy/Star Student Award twice this year (the first month of school by her teacher and in the Spring by her Discover teacher). Her teacher has told me over and over again how good Kensley is at school and how much she enjoyed having her. She says she is self motivated, grown up and responsible and a great example to her peers.

Throughout this school year, Kensley also participate in the Awana program at a local church. She has learned so much...memorized bible verses, books of the bible, etc. She had a great year and loved going each week!
We are so proud of her and are so thankful for such a great year and great experiences for her. Bring on First Grade!
