Our Avery girl is 5 years old and I feel like the past 5 years have just flown by!
Avery is a girly girl through and through. She loves all things beautiful (her own words)...long dresses, high heeled shoes, headbands, lipstick, nail polish and lots of accessories. She has definite opinions about what she wants to wear and requests a dress every day. When preparing for a big occasion, she loves to focus on what she is going to wear. She also is usually the first to comment and compliment my outfits.
She loves to dance, do gymnastics and swim. She loves to play outside with her friends and has been a great playmate to Maddy this past year as Kensley has been at school. She loves the stage and loves to perform. She was in her element with her dance class and recital this past Spring. She loved it! Her current favorites include: donuts, bubble gum, long dresses, strawberries, lipgloss, peanut butter and jelly, lemonade, all accessories and all sweets.
She loves her friends! Her teachers described her as "the little mama" in her class this year as she was always willing to help the teachers and her friends. They said they are going to miss her leadership next year! She is sensitive and is quick to include and help others. She definitely has the mothering instinct.
Avery loves to be in charge and still moves 100 miles an hour. She runs everywhere she goes and hates to miss out on a single thing. Needless to say, this leads to lots of bruises and tears as she seems prone to get hurt! She is becoming very independent and wants to do and try everything on her own.
Four has been such a fun age with Avery...we can't wait to see what five will bring! She is excited about everything, pretty compliant (most of the time) and a really great helper to me at home. She's still a snuggler and very affectionate. She thanks us over and over for stuff. She is a comedian and loves to make us laugh.
