The weather this year ruined some of our fourth of July plans, but we made the best of it. We ended up spending more time indoors than we had planned due to rain, but the extra long weekend was fun!
Our fun weekend actually started on Thursday as Jeremy and I headed to the Kenny Chesney concert with friends. Nana came down to hang with the girls for the evening so we could go out. We had a great time and hadn't been to a concert in years!
On Friday, we spent the day running errands and then Jeremy's company had a family event at the Indianapolis Zoo. We headed down after naps to walk around and see the animals, rode a few rides and then had dinner in the Dolphin pavilion. It was a fun event and a great evening spent together.
Saturday we spent a low-key day at home, relaxing, riding bikes and playing outside. After naps, we rode bikes to a park and then to a local pizza place for dinner. Sunday was full of rain so we spent the day resting after church. We went over to the Lindvall house after naps to have dinner and watch Zootopia.
Monday was another slow morning and Jeremy took the girls out for a bit so I could clean. We spent the evening at the Indianapolis Indians game with friends for the 4th. It was a good time with a few sprinkles, but the weather actually surprised us all. The girls had fun and we finally were able to see some fireworks (since the night before was cancelled).
