Meeting Elli...

This weekend we had the opportunity to meet the newest addition to our family, Elliana Marie Lindvall. She is such a little peanut and so sweet and cuddly. The Lindvall family is doing well and adjusting to being a family of three! They aren't getting much sleep these days, but hopefully feel a little rested after this weekend as there were lots of willing people to hold baby Elli.

This was Kensley's first trip to Ohio and first stay at Great Grandma and Grandpa Brauchler's house. She did great sleeping at their house and Papa Brauchler even shared a room with her. The 3 hour trip over to Columbus was as we expected it would be, but hoped for better. Kensley is still not a fan of her carseat or long trips. She slept for about the 1st hour of the trip, cried a good portion of the 2nd hour and then mommy finally gave in and sat in the back with her for the 3rd hour. This pattern happened on the way over and also the way home. We're finding that what used to be a quick 3 hour trip, isn't necessarily the case now and usually involves at least one stop to sooth, feed and/or change Kens.

Here are some pictures from our visit to Columbus.
Kens is looking over to make sure that Elli is smiling. She's thinking...maybe if we cooperate, all of these people with cameras will finally quit calling our names and waving their arms for us to look.

Cousins! Such a cute picture! Kensley is holding Elli close.

Little Elli getting ready to eat...she had to be stripped down so that she would stay awake.

Papa Brauchler and his girls

Nothing like a Sunday afternoon nap!

Elli got a Sophie just like Kens!

Of course I can't complete a post without a few cute pictures of Kensley from this weekend.

Kensley and Nana having a good time.

Elli let Kensley try out her swing...Kens loved looking at the fish and kept swinging at them.

Cute close up!

Such a fun weekend and we are anxious to see Elli and her parents again soon!
